EBAY - How to sell a car from Japan into North America?
Hi everyone..
I'm in Japan and I am thinking of putting a car up on EBAY. To be honest I would never give any money in advance or pay a deposit on a vehicle I have never seen. Does anyone know of any way that both the buyer and the seller can be comfortable in the transaction? I would appreciate any ideas. I would provide lots of info and excellent pictures and so on. Every scumbag tries to make himself look honest so that is just not good enough. Thanks Gary |

there are a lot of overseas sellers on ebay for the american market, typically for european collector cars from what i have seen. shipping from asia / australia to the US can be up to $3k+ including overland shipping to the east coast - less for the west obviously. there are all sorts of brokers - if you are selling accept an LC which might be a little safer for the buyer...

There are several Skylines offered at auction on eBay at any given time. Some have a long description of an escrow process that affords the buyer a measure of confidence. It should be a good start for you.
I just checked, none today with shipping info Sixto 95 S420 91 300SE 87 300SDL 83 300SD |
