Speaking of Chocolate. Impress the ladies.

This is a recipe for chocolate truffles. It's pretty simple.

Ingredients

1.25 lbs dark chocolate chips
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 stick butter
coupla shots of your favorite liquor (Brandy, Bailey's, Kahlua)

cocoa, powdered sugar

Bring the heavy cream to boil in a saucepan. Add the chocolate to the pan and stir to melt. Remove from heat and add the butter. Now add your booze.

Allow this to cool a bit and put it in the fridge to set. Once it's firm enough, you can form it into little balls, or big ones if you want.

Dust your hands with powdered sugar or cocoa. Scoop some of the mixture out with a spoon and start rolling it in your hands. After you get the desired shape you can roll it in cocoa or powdered sugar.

Very easy, if she's a chocolate lover she'll love these, I guarantee.

Truffles are a fungus. I'm cool with putting a fungus in truffles. Shoot, when I was a kid we'd harvest fungus off cow patties and make truly weird omelettes.

But how did this delicious-sounding recipe get named 'chocolate truffles'?
