New Ferrari 612
Too bad even mentioning Ferrari around my house seems to be a dirty look magnet, I'm still shopping though.
They have some better pics on the Ferrari owners site but I can't right click em Last edited by MedMech; 10-16-2003 at 09:03 PM. |

I dunno, bro...I LOVE the interior, and I'm sure it's fast as an Amsterdam hooker, but the body styling is a bit "Toyota-ish" looking, especially compared to other Ferraris. I do like the "cove" in the side of the car...reminds me of the 1st-gen Corvettes!
I think I like your old one better. I'm still disappointed I never got a joy-ride in it! ![]() Mike

I'd be afraid to drive it anywhere. It does scream, GIVE ME A TICKET!!!
Maybe in my next life.

MM, i dont know how flexible you are on italian iron, but...
spend $50k on whatever bodyhauler you like, and then: spend another other $10 - $15 on a two wheeled V-twin italian. the exhaust note of a guzzi or ducati will bring the same smile. it also will outperform the prancing pony in probably EVERY situation. :p |

The 456GT is sucha beautiful car; surely one of the most beautiful cars ever produced by Ferrari or anyone else for that matter. I prefer the 456 to this 612.

Had I an unlimited budget I would own a 365GTB/S, preferably a Spyder were one around. They are incredible rare (not that the Berlinetta (sp) is a car you see everyday) and veddy expensive.
In my neck-o-the-woods there is the occasional 328GTS for sale, and I have seen the Rocky's Battery guy (Edmontonians know...) in his 360 Spyder. His will be for sale when he "upgrades." Right after I sold the Porsche I saw this red/cream 328GTS for sale. Jeff is SO right about "dirty looks." I figured a divorce decree would accompany the registration of that car. I made one HUGE mistake with the Porsche. I kept all the expenses and documents in a file. It was easy to check my spreadsheet to see the running tally on repairs, maintenance and insurance. That sunk me. I understand the "original" Testarossa's have become "affordable" (relative term...) in Ferrari land. They are still an outrageous car with enormous head turning ability and excellent performance.

I know someone with a 328GTS, It is so nice
I want a 250GTO or an F40. I think the 250GTO was the most incredible sports car ever made. Only the Jaguar XKE's of the early to mid 60's can hold a candle to it in looks.
