Interesting! - very "New RR" - could be a bit more integrated if the corners of the headlamps were more rounded. The sharp egdes IMO don't quite integrate/relate to the rest of the cars lines.

What are they out of? They look like they might work on my old Audis.

My buddy owns California Car Cover, I've seen these lights in his showroom.

Are they HID?

they are not hid, but I have ordered the hid kit for them. They are projector headlights for a 88-93 chevy truck.

I was honeslty going to guess that it came off of a chevy truck. Reminded me of those trucks with the stacked lights.

I bet it would look sweet with HID

Yeah, my guess was a Chevy truck...

I rode in one of my friends promo cars with all the mods his company offers and it included those lights with the HID kit. The beam pattern is pretty good too with the 'euro style' projectors, however not as good as the german market E code lights, IMHO. I like the city light feature of the E code lights as well over aftermarket systems.

It's definately different. And i think it looks cool!
It makes the rest of the car appear bigger..
Also the w116 now has the look of a cat staring into the sun.

I'll give good points for the result and max. points for getting the idea at all.
