Looks like a nice one Warren. Only question I have is what is all that white stuff in the background?

I guess I best get used to seeing that kind of scenery.

145K miles in 14 years.

I've already replaced the tie rods and drag link and gotten an alignment.

Next are the front brakes since the rotors are warped. I'll repack the bearings too.

Next, it needs a tune up and all fluids changed. When it's cold, there is hesitation so I suspect some sensors are out of spec.

There's always something on an old car.

I also need some sheepskin seat covers. There are no seat heaters and my buns get cold.

Refer to a previous pic of the white stuff.

Very nice indeed. What is the badge on the grille. Quickly it looks like a MBCA badge, but the blue is rather bright. I know it's not a high mileage badge, those are blue and gold.

That is weird. You have good taste is cars too. I think I'll start looking for a 420SEL as well. I figure that my 11 y/o daughter will need a car in a few years so she can start driving the 300SE.

Did I just write that?

It's from American Service Center in Arlington Va. SO it's a local car, local for me anyway.

Beautiful car!

You do have fine taste in cars! You might like this site. www.geocities.com/w126s/ Takes a couple seconds to load. See gallery/owners! Here's some pics of my precious 1989 420 SEL.
