Wiper Size

Going to buy a new set of wipers for the 126 tommorow and just need to know the correct size for the both of them?

Thanks.

Get a tape measure or yardstick and measure them.

Have fun with that one. I never did find an exact fit for my SD. Ended up getting the one listed at NAPA, which didn't fit quite right, and doing a bit of modifying. I've heard this from several other w126 owners too. For some reason, the aftermarket wipers don't match the way they need to clip onto the wiper arm quite right. If your blade holder is in good shape, just get a refill for it.
I don't remember the size right now tho'.

22" for the inserts. Order them from FastLane, be sure to retain the thin metal slats you will pull out of the old inserts (assuming you still have original style inserts). If going for new wiper blades rather than refills they are still 22". The difference is in the length of the arm not the blade.

Yes, the metal slats are reused with the replacement inserts (insert for those mono-wiper folks).
