Oooh...gotta have those! ;) Only $500? What a bargain!
But I'm still making payments on my $6000 concrete blocks that are resting on my Krells...they do a terrific job of reducing that annoying capacitor clatter! |
lol...and I thought I was paranoid by not keeping any loose CDs on top of my amp...;)

Um, couldn't you just remove the knobs and leave them off? Not the point, I guess.

Ahh, audiophiles!
This is almost as good as the old granite slab turntable with twice the wow and flutter as a 1950 Sylvania console unit! Peter |
since this thread is already up, I'm looking to get myself 5 new speakers (2 bookshelfs, 1 center, 2 surrounds) for christmas, and I'm looking to spend around 100-200 bucks. Anybody have any suggestions/horror stories? I already have a 10" 210W KLH sub, and I currently have some 5 year old aiwa speakers hooked up to a 500W sherwood amp (5x100W) that's hooked up to an Audigy 2 sound card in my computer (I can watch DVD's in Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS). I've been looking at some online, but I can see that reviews come in all different shapes and sizes (some people will love one speaker while others hate the same one), and I wanted some of your opinions on this. My room is a mess, but I'll try to get some pics of my setup online soon.
