Finals are finally over!!!
wow, I don't know about other students here, but I'm so glad finals are over (they ended yesterday). I had a terrible time with my chemistry and calculus finals, but I think I did fairly well overall. To the rest of the students here: take a break, you deserve it!

Robert..time to party!
It's been a while since I experienced this (say 20 years!) but I remeber the relief as being overwhelming, and the beer as being good!

Ack! Thank god!
Small Computer Systems Design went well, PC and Industrial Networks was a piece of cake, Digital Logic Sucked (noone out of 43 people was passing the class.. hopefully I will pass by the curve), Engineering Trigonometry sucked, and Prinicples of Moderns Business was cake... Thank god I have 3 weeks off. ~D.J.~ |

just got 2/3 grades in... I got a b in calculus and a b in chemistry (both second semester, both disappointing). Oh well, at least I think I'll get an A in english. I don't really drink or party, but it's a huge relief to have all my christmas shopping done, and be done with finals.

I love school, don't get me wrong. However, I find that I lack motivation to do homework or study.. and thank god I absorb info well in class and from notes. I jsut feel bad because of watching my roommate study their asses off and I either don't have anything to study, or lack the motivation to (I honestly think I am addicted to the internet). Do any of you who have been through this before (I am a 3rd year Computer Science Engineering student with a minor in Business Admin) have any tips to motivate me?

I can safely say I'm on the same boat. In calc 2, the teacher dropped everyone's lowest test except mine. For me, she dropped all of my homework, it made the difference between a D and a B, so I'm thrilled that she did it. I absoulutely hate doing homework, because it takes so long, and I don't get anything out of it. I also don't take great notes, depending on the class, and I can't study. But, I go to every class, and I usually do well on tests, so it's starting to help me out (homework doesn't really count for as much as it used to in high school).

I pay attention, take notes, and absorb the info well; but when they don't collect the homework it is just too damn hard to make me do it. I usually have ot pull some huge miracle 2nd semester to pull my GPA back up. I am unfortunately in the core of my major, and have 2 or 3 classes every year with professors that are known to be godawful hard, or just plain terrible.

Me too, I finished finals about 3 days ago!!! YIPPPIE!!!
I can focus back on fixing my cars and my job. I HATE calculus. Who needs to know tangant lines, derivaties, anti dirivatives, etc. I cant do good in math and its my hardest subject. I wait till last minute cramming but at my college they make you do homework and regular quizes and NO calculators. Any plans for you college students out there? I am just going to catch up on rest, work, and car stuff (changing blower motors, tune ups, oil changes, etc.) |

I would say it's time to refresh my social life, but it just took a major turn for the worse , so I'll probably end up spending more time with my car (tracking down the electrical and heating issues, maybe getting some new toys).
