Anyone tried the Pops-A-Dent system as seen on TV?
I recently saw this new hammerless dent repair system on TV but as with everything that I see on TV, I am very skeptical on the effectiveness of this gimmick. I especially don't think this will work on the heavier gauge steel on our fine M-B cars. What to do you all think about it? Will anyone admit to having tried it?

I haven't used pop-a-dent, but I did take my 85 380sl to a Dent Wizard shop to have a shopping cart ding removed. Didn't work. They use a 4-foot pry bar with a pivot point attached to the car and attack the ding from inside. The technician got most of the ding pushed back out, but was afraid to push any harder on the center indentation. Afraid he would crack the paint. No charge. All this to say if a man with a pry bar can't do it, I don't see how a suction cup could. The technician said MB uses thicker metal than most cars.

Yeah, would probably work on a beer can or a Kia, but not much else. And if there is a crease, forget it.

I've watched the ad several times and noticed the large indentations left at the outside points. I wouldn't get the device for that reason.
