When you say "It takes two cranks to start" what do you mean.
What do you mean by this? It takes taht you turn teh key twice, or it takes teh starter motor two revolutions (noise) to start the car.
I am sorry if this is a stupid question but just want to clarify the terminology here. thanks. Iggy

What is normal then?
Then how many revolutions are normal for a MB? Lets say in 56 degree farenheit weather in the morning and the night the coldest it could ahve gotten was 52?

It means it takes two grouchy people to start the car. One to push, one to steer and pop the clutch!
