Self Leveling Suspension

I am looking for a rebuild kit for the self leveling actuator. I got a mercedes part number off of this site but no one carries it. The part number is 000 586 00 32. Any ideas, I have tried the dealer as well, said it may be available in Germany but I'd rather find it in the states if I could. Thanks in advance...Jeff

Did you call Phil at Fastlane and ask him about it?

If necessary, let me know.

As far as I know the repair kit costs around 35 Euro here in Germany.

I could get it for you...

Kind regards
Eberhard

Eberhard,
You'd be my friend forever if you could procure one of those leveling valve kits for a 1983 300TD.

Let me know how much shipping would be to the US of A and I'll PayPal the funds to you.

Here we go:

A0005860032
REPARATURSATZ
EUR 53.94

plus shipping and handling...

If it is o.k. with the owners of this website (remember, they are running a business with maintaining cars ) and the parts are really hard to get in the US I certainly can help with getting those parts.

Shipping shouldn't cost a fortune, since it would be simple letter.

Kind regards
Eberhard

Eberhard,
I'm going to use the part number on your graphic and give the local MBZ wholsaler one more try. In the past, the idiot behind the counter reponded to my query about a leveling valve rebuild kit by telling me unequivically, that my car did not have self-leveling suspension.

Sometimes you have to wonder....

Anyway, if I strike out, I'll contact you off line.

Danke Schöen!
Randy

As far as I know, the price for the part in the US should be around $ 71 retail.

They really should be able to order the part. Otherwise, and of the site-owner doesn't object, I would be happy to get it for you.

Kind regards
Eberhard

Eberhard:
I'm curious about parts prices in Germany. I need a hood, front, panel, grill and bumper for my 409d. There are only a couple of places in the US that even know what a 409d is, let alone carry parts. So far, I'm looking at around $1300-1500 for those parts. Is that similar to prices in Europe?

Kerry
