For reliability and quality I would go for the Lexus.

william rogers,

Have you EVEN driven a 2004 Jaguar XJR?

I have and was very impressed.

Do you know anything at all about the 2004 Jaguar XJR?

william rogers,

The line between Chryslers and MBs is getting "hazier" by the year.

Take a look at the Chrysler Crossfire.

I wouldn't be suprised if the MB concept car, the Vision GST is based off of the Chrysler Pacifica.

The Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum use the previous E Class's chassis bits and pieces.

Look at the junk MB is making today; MLs, A class, and all those other nerd mobiles in Europe, and the pointless, redundant CL65sSl75s that serve no purpose.

Which would you take?

Aston Martin DB9 or MB CL65 AMG?

In today's business world, you must compromise. Companies are merging and doing joint-ventures and all sorts of stuff.

BMW or MBZ, do you prefer Swabians or Bavarians? Does it really matter who makes the car, if the end product is excellent?

That said, the Jag wins in a beauty comparison.

The Jag and Lexus both use Denso engine mangement systems, but i'd go with Lexus. Ford=meh.

I agree with Mr. Rogers.
But i just dont see it, the Jag is frikkin hideous IMHO. Course, the Lexus is a bit ugly as well, and by a bit i mean a bunch. But, I'd take the Toyota. Its uhh.... hm.... just cant stand the jag I guess... As for the Aston or MB, CL65. I dont get why its pointless? I guess Ferraris are too? You dont like driving fast?

The jag would be a 2nd car bc of it's pointless backseats.

The lex would be a great family sedan.

It all depends on your needs. if you are a family man and this is your only car, lex wins. If this is a wkend car, cruise in style with the jag man. Also keep in mind that the lex will keep its value well compared to the jag

Forgot to mention Crysler ,heart breaking.

MB is now using useing catchy names instead of numbers like Porsche did on it's 450 hp SUV Cayenne with their Maybach.guess I'll go out and wax my new Mercedes AllSpice .......

My sister looked at the supercharged S-Type last year. She liked that the lady's voice on the NAV system had a british accent

djantlive,

Have you sat in the back seat of a 2004 Jaguar XJ?

It has more legroom front/rear than a BMW 745i.

As I said before, knowledge is power.

An MB CL65 is pointless because the interior and driving experience are not comparable to the Aston Martin DB9. It is just a dragster. The doors on CLs shut nice, but the base CL costs around $90,000.

The Maybach? I saw it at the L.A. Auto show. Why pay $330,000 for a Mercedes-Benz. It is a nice MB, but lacks style. The Maybach 62 was a barge; out of proportion, overweight, and weird with the dentist chairs in back.

The Maybach is a car be ridden in, unlike the Rolls-Royce which is more of a driver's car.

Because to some people 330K isn't much money. Or it's the "in" car this year. I think the old Bently without the pos BMW V12 is the best car in this class.

A Bentley Aranage T with its "6-and-3-quarters" twin-turbo V-8 is pretty nice. It may not be as up to date as its rivals but I like old-school, old-world cars.
