women are really just "stove operators"
there was a shock jock a few years back that drew the rath of women by declaring them to be nothing more than "stove operators" !
on one of my favorite shows the other day, a line reminded me of that point of view. on King of the Hill, hanks father Cotton refers to his wife Peggy as "hank's wife", and is always trying to put women "in their place". this is the best zinger ive heard from him yet: "woman, if you need to express your feelings, get in the kitchen and put them in a bundt cake!" :p aaahhh, that boy aint right! |

I've watched that show several times, and I'm surprised Hank's dad's jibes hasn't drawn criticism from women viewers all over the country!
But as soft spoken as Peggy is on that show, she usually gets to put him in his place by the end of the episode! If I said any of those things to MY wife, I would be the one in a bundt cake mold!
