Anyone have a Buick Grand National

I need to see if the fuel pressure regulators have a vaccum line on them. I found that they will fit in my BMW but I want to make sure I'm not going to have a problem getting the vaccum system right again. Plus Adjustable FPR's for Buicks are 1/4 of that for ones that say they are for BMW's.
If anyone does have one I would reatly appreciate some help
Thanks
Dan

You might be able to find something at this site or find someone you could email to find out.

Another thought is to stop by your local Buick dealer and see if the parts guy will let you take a look at the exploded dwg of the part.

good luck

One thing you have to remember is that the GN uses a RRFPR, rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Since your BMW is not boosted, this should not be a problem.

On the topic of Grand National, I am seriously thinking of getting one GNX. Recently, I read an article in the Muscle Car magazine about the GN. It's probably the best balanced muscle car made by the General. It's shame Buick discontinued it They sold every single GN ever made at a great profit. The dealers were happy so were the consumers. The General does strange things when it come to making and marketing cars. The new GTO is a disgrace to the GTO badge!

Yeah, I thought they were replacing the GrandAm with the new G6.
I seen a "Newgoat" at the Chicago show, didn't they shove one of them 5.3 Gm V8's in that thing? That oughtta get someones attention, that's alot of engine for that car!

I did predelivery inspections back in the 80's on Turbo Regals, that was always alot of fun. I got to drive a GNX on a roadtest too.

Dan, when are you going to stop putting GM parts in your Bimmer? Soon you're going to have a small block in there.

MMMM LS1. Actually Ford motors work better bucks of their oil pumps being front sump. This is the cheapest way to get more power out of the engine. PS this will be the only GM part on this one

I had a friend with an 85 GN. The car was a total POS! He sued GM and they had to buy it back. He had more turbo failures than I can remember and the car rattled over every bump and handled like a Cadillac Fleetwood. However, in the right hands the car can be made into a 1/4 mile screamer.
