Post your mileage milestone photos here.

My '85 300D reached an interesting mileage milestone yesterday and I was ready to take a photo of its speedometer's odometer when it happened. I pulled off to the side of the road when it happened to do it safely. Even the trip odometer matches the main odometer. This is the actual photo and it hasn't been altered except to fit as a post.

When I knew that it was getting close to the milestone, I took my digital camera with me. When it was nearing the last few miles, I planned my drive to be in an area where I could conveniently take the picture. I took a few extra photos just in case one didn't come out well.

Funny, I just posted this one to the diesel discussion forum. Happened today on the way home from work.

He probably just reset the trip at exactly 222,000 miles. Then when he got to 222,222, he would have 222 on the trip.

I know we all love out cars, but this is kinda sad. Perhaps some of us should be seeking help...

yes, but he probably also had to step on the accelerator (i dare not say "gas" in a diesel car) a bit to place the oil pressure gage at 2 bar ...

Nope the car was stopped and idling with the transmission in park. It was fully warmed up as well. While driving the oil pressure gauge pegs at 3 bar.

Another photo of the gauge pod. The only thing is the tachometer doesn't work which is why I didn't post this photo originally.
