1. The e290 (210). What engine does this car have? 5 cylinder variant of the 606 (605?)

2. Why do the blue dash boards crack so often? The dye used?

3. What percentage of DCX does Deutsche Bank control?

They dont crack more often just more noticeable. My guess :D

Here is a question Why does the drink holder in the glove box exist of a w126? Not big enough for any kind of drink because of its location near the dash.

The 2.9L engine in the E290 is an OM603 right?

According to my MB history disc, it's a OM602, a 602.982 to be exact. 5 cyl, 2874cc.

The 602.982 was also the first direkt injected Diesel which made its way under a Mercedes passenger cars hood.

The engine started its life in the Sprinter.

So the 290 is a 2.5l 602 motor, bored out and utilizing a different injection system?
