Question Good tranny shop in the Bay Area?

Hello!

I guess this would be better-suited to the "Good MB Shops" forum, but the few times I've asked a question there, I didn't get a response, so I figured I'll try here.

Does anyone know of a good reliable transmission shop in the southern San Francisco Bay Area? This actually isn't for me; a friend has a '99 Dodge Dakota that's having some transmission slippage issues, and he doesn't want to go to AAMCO or a similar place; he'd rather go somewhere where they know what they're doing.

Thanks in advance!

Warden,
It's been a few years since I used him, but he was always honest with me on the 3 trannies he did for me (funny, they were all GM)

His name is Bill Neves, and if he is still there, you can find him in Morgan Hill on Joleen Way.

Take 101 south, Dunne ave exit (west). You will pass Fred's Automotive (Mercedes indie) on the left. The next one or two streets should be Joleen way. Make a left there and Bill's shop will be on the left side about 1/2 way down the street.

Let me know how it goes-

Regards,
Nate
