Planning on Suba Diving
 

I have never suba dived before.. but I have always wanted to. I read in some older posts that some of you have been diving before. How hard is it to learn and how long does it take for a typical person to learn? In order to scuba dive... do you need to have training PRIOR or do places tend to offer "on the spot" sort of training inorder to go diving? For my "extended" Spring Break... I will be at Sharm El-Sheikh, which is famous for its coral reefs and sea life. There is also an old British ship from WWII that was sunk by a German sub just 100 yards from the coast and would think it would be fun to go explore... but I am thinking I would need more indepth training in order to go diving there. Anyone here been to the Red Sea? This will be my first time at Sharm El-Sheikh and hopefully also my first time scuba diving.. 2nd time being at the Red Sea.

make sure you take a tank, that's what put's the "C" in SCUBA.
