low compression
 

got a 1984 300td. love the car. 156m miles. very weak in 1st gear. other gears seem 2 b working fine and have power but the 1st one bearly pulls. i heard it might b the valves but could it b anything else? (i know i have low compression). by adjusting the valves how much more power4 would i get?
2. the whole right side of my car doesnt work. do u know what the problem might b? there is some diagram on back of my radio but i cant figure out wnats what. can i find a diagram somewhere 4 that?
oh, can i install some better speakers into the car and can i find a radio with a cd player 4 it? thanx......alot.......david pfdz@nyc.rr.com
