whats the most comfortable car you been in?

Well the thread is simple, whats the most comfortable car you been in? RVs are excluded :-)

For me, I think a Cadillac Fleetwood (94 to 96 ish) is my choice. I am 5'10" and i can sit in the passanger seat with my feet stretched. Caddys are like riding on couches

The cadillac is hard to beat but I prefer a lexus ls400 and an early 90's 12cyl mercedes I forget the model #. The rolls royce corniche is also pretty nice.

1991 Lincoln Continental I got for an unlimited mileage, $10/day promo upgrade from a full-sized rental.

Drove from NOLA to Austin with my Queen and our squabbling kids. The kids slept on the large, soft seats as we glided over the interstate. We were amazed at how ache-free and cheerful we were upon arrival.

We owned an '87 DeVille for a number fo years and it was comfortable, but the 420SEL beat it hands down. The E420 is also a very comfortable car.

Either the '66 Lincoln Continental I had many years ago, or the '71 Chrysler Imperial Brougham I had after it. It's a toss up Both felt rather unconnected with the road. Until you took a corner too fast that is Cornering is not a strong point of those old boats

For long-term comfort, '81 300SD. I drove from Salt Lake to Portland last Thursday, Portland to SF on Friday, and SF to LA on Saturday - 2000 miles in three days, my back never hurt. Cadillacs, Lincolns, etc. are great for an hour or two, but not nearly as comfortable over time. W126's are great road trip cars.

That is why I vote for a 1965-66 Cadillac Coupe de Ville, Sedan de Ville, or Fleetwood. Complete comfort and great road feel. They are my favorite cars ever, not counting the 1970-71 MGB roadster.

I have to say, my 124 is probably the most comfortable car I've been in, especially the passenger side. Driving my butt tends to get a bit sore after 3 hours or so, but the passenger side is like a sofa with loads of leg room (I'm 6'1). No wonder my wife likes to take the Merc everywhere and insists 'you drive'.

Lately, probably a Lincoln LS. It was more comfortable than a Town Car, especially in the back where the TC's seats lack any support.

But, I also distinctly remember riding in the back of a Peugot 505 wagon when I was a kid and being really amazed at how comfy it was.

Drove an 89 Volvo 780 coupe 10 hours from Cincinnati to Fairfax, VA, rained all the way, best auto seats I have ever experienced. Took a 94 E320 from Dallas to Fairfax in 25 hours, didn't want to stop except for some zzz's in TN. Couldn't believe the rest stop in TN off I40, had a great room with a fireplace; maybe I dreaming.
