You gotta love Henry Waxman
I used to enjoy hearing Representative Waxman lambast Representive Dan Burton about the foolish witchhunts he perpetrated against President Clinton. Now Mr. Waxman has had a great report prepared summarizing the hundreds of misleading statements made by the Bush administration concerning Iraq.
Some of you will reject the report out of hand, but even if it is only 2% accurate, it shows a greater level of mendacity than Burton and his crew ever found on the part of the Clinton administration. |

OK, you don't have to love him, but what did you think of his report? Pretty spiffy, huh?

Interesting approach. I wish more people would do this to all gov officials, including Congressmen. I'll hold my breath, right?
I think, its abouu half of a useful report, but is still valuable even if half-completed. Why half-valuable? Well the other half would be the number of factual statements made by the same individuals from the same reports. Then from these two pools fo data it would be interesting to draw conclusions. Until then, I'll just take this as a preliminary report. Botnst |
