R.I.P: How about a thread of wrecked Mercedes'?

Here is a link to a current thread in diesel discussion. If you follow this link they'll explain, but two were killed in this E320 Sedan. Horrific accident and not for the faint of heart.
So, let's see pics of Mercedes' in their worst state, not rusted out, but wrecked.
Thanks
David

...thank goodness that rear spoiler didn't get damaged. That'd be a darn shame...

I can only describe that spoiler as 'custom'. I would like to have the smoked tailights though. Just the tails though, not that crap on the deck lid.

I knew i should have stopped to take a picture..

Earlier this week i saw a w124 on the shoulder of the freeway -totally burnt to the ground!
The hood was open so i guess the fire started in the engine compartment and really caught on when the driver opened the hood.

A sad sight.

Looks like the gold colored car might be a W123. Apparently a bomb went off in it.

If you live in the Sacramento area.........

Check out Silver Star Recycling in Rancho Cordova. They are an all MB and porsche recycling yard (P.C. for junkyard) with a huge inventory of both early and late model cars. They can be pricey but will have what you need. I went there last weekend looking for a leather steering wheel for my 300sd. One of the guys there took me out back to pick which one I wanted. If you want to see some truly horrific carnage of late model MBs this is the place. Among the many wrecks present, there was a CLK hit from the drivers' side turning the car into a "v", the drivers' seat was where the passengers' seat belonged. There was a fairly new s600 burnt to the ground, apparently caused by an electrical fire in the dashboard. Last, but not least, there was a Ferrari 360 Modena which was rolled during last year's Gumball Rally. The Ferrari was completely pancaked and destroyed, it appeared that the airbags failed to deploy as well! They were selling the car on ebay ( I tried to find the link) for $38,000!
