haven't been keeping up with goings on around here although i still check in from time to time. just wanted to say hi and see how my fellow '93 w124 owners are making out with their rides. these cars are now a dozen years old. mine, for one is holding up pretty good. not only that, after three years, i have a car that i own free and clear that's still worth a few thou'!

ownership is still fairly uneventfull, since last year:

-vacuum hoses leaked, making me flunk emissions (easy fix)
-outside temp gauge died
-starter died (started to go south and i replaced it)

only thing new i've done is that i finally switched to 5w-50 mobil 1. suddenly it's running smoother and i don't see anything coming out the tailpipe anymore (used to be a constant white vapor mist) even when cold. so far no leaks (knock wood).

i know there's a number of members out there with the same model year (G-Benz, Suginami and many more). how're your cars doing?
