Porsche still using MB transmissions...

I knew the 928 used a Mercedes auto transmission but had no idea the 996 twin turbo's tiptronic was a MB transmission too! I guess a relationship still exists between the two companies...not so surprising, is it?

I can hardly wait to see what GM and Ford cook up under their recently announced agreement to jointly design a new transmission.
