Now THIS REALLY PISSES ME OFF! (Dog lovers beware)

If you get queezy easy, don't look. This is one reason I might become an animal activist.

The true definition of evil is cruelty to a creature that can't defend itself and doesn't understand why, whether it's an animal or a child.

Seriously sick bastards.

They aren't the only "institutionally cruel" bastards to animals. Dogs are also raised to provide fur for the collars on winter coats, and they are treated horribly and killed inhumanely to provide this.

Somehow, italian greyhounds are also treated horribly, as there are many rescue organizations for their assistance as well.

I used to do social work, and visisted the homes of foster and biological parents, who I'm sure you can assume have, uh, personal problems. If you think some people are feral, you should see what they put their dogs through. Its sad and frustrating. Here in K.C., some "kids" set a Yorkie on fire with gasoline and videotaped it. They were prosecuted not for cruelty to animals, a misdemeanor, but for arson. They went away for a while.

Love to give those guys the same treatment - hang them till their legs give out so they die the same agony death. Long ago I have lost sympathy to human race and thats why I will never save another human from misery. I donate all my time to animals. This just confirm what I have believed for so long.

Its things like this that convince me that ignorance truly is bliss.

I could live my whole life without seeing that and be perfectly happy.

Why are they doing this?

Thanks for the warning beforehand-- I haven't and won't look at the link.

I remember seeing a picture of a dog in chains behind a car when I was about ten years old. The image is still in my mind 30 years later.

It's unbelievable what people will do sometimes.

I’ve heard that these track dogs can be pretty aggressive sometimes. Just be sure you’ve got plenty of room if you get one. One of our dogs is a purebred “DobiLabradorHound”, and quite an athlete. When I see her running and jumping (her bunny spotting technique) I’m reminded how miserable she’d be without a lot of ground. The Chow Chow doesn’t need any room, he’s just tagging along at the rear hoping.
There’s got to be a special place in hell for people like these, or at least a lot of the good life that they will never know.
