Any one ever recover thier seats?
If so what did you pay to have it done.
I got a set of sport seats for the 533 today and I'm trying to discover a resonable price for getting them re-done. Any advice is appreciated |

Don't know if they make them for your make & model, but they claim to make seats for 1,400 different cars so they probably have you covered. Mass produced probably means far cheaper then custom made locally. Without further ado, Katskinz seats...

If there is a community college nearby they may offer an Upholstery Course that you can take. I took one and recovered some of my household furniture during the "class" (4 chairs and a loveseat) plus it was lotsa fun. Our teacher was a specialist in Auto Upholstery but I never needed to cover anything for my car when I took the class.
If that doesn't interest you, I find that prices vary with region and towns. For good work, look in a small town where someone has been upholstering for a long time.. usually does good work and is cheaper than the big city shops. Make sure he does auto seats and see if you can take a look at his work or get word-of-mouth recommendations. Good Luck!
