No, at that point you can expect electrical troubles for life, engine was flooded with water and mildew will form in closed areas giving bad odors. Flooded cars are totaled. I think you can save such a car if you disassemble, dry all parts and reassemble everything, so basically, the work exceeds the value of the car.

There was video of a crane hoisting the van out of the pool on the local stations. Funny thing, I didn't realize that I knew the owners of the the house, Katherine Peacock, until i read the linked article. :)
