Fantom Thunder Owners?

Anyone on this board own a Fantom Thunder vacuum? I think my bearings are in need of replacement and wonder if anyone has replaced theirs on their own and has the process to do it. Thanks

Not the help you're looking for but we have a Fantom something vacuum cleaner (black bagless canister type with a clear dust collecting bin) we got as a gift. It's been fine for 3 years now. Doesn't see heavy duty use.

my vacuum cleaner repair guy says that fantom went out of business a couple of years ago and may have been bought by another company (i have the black bagless one too).
why do you think it's bearings? usually the brushes go on electric motors...

Hm... maybe thats it. Its one or the other. I've had the brushes go out on a Eureka vacuum before... it just didn't work the same. I am aware that the company went out of business and I got mine from a yard sale for $15. It was all jammed up at 2 places but works now, just a little "uneven" sounding. Do you guys happen to know how to replace the brushes and where i can get the brushes from?

Did you try searching the internet for help?? That would seem a likely choice as opposed to a Mercedes site?

Yes as a matter of fact, i did. But Mercedesshop is such a better atmosphere with advice that helps instead of links upon links that don't work.
