So what? Its a free country. She said what she thinks and the audience reacted accordingly. Only Faux News takes pleasure in reporting anybody has anything to say against GW and his war. I speak my mind on the issue, so come boo me for all I care.

I'm a professional musician, AND I'm highly-opinionated and passionate about politics. But I DO NOT mix the two.

People pay their hard-earned money to see me PLAY MUSIC, not to spout political bull$h!t from the stage.

When will these morons learn that they are being paid to ENTERTAIN, not to preach their political convictions?

I'd expect a lot more professionalism from someone who's been doing it as long as she has....People are there to hear her hit songs, NOT her political yammering.

She's welcome to join our open discussion forum and pontificate all she wants.

Well then rickg, if you don't want too look hypocritcal, you need to take a piss on Toby Keith too while your at it. Politics and art are inseparable. Y'all ought to know better. You want just "entertainment" lets all just go back to Lawrence Welk and Leave it to Beaver, while the black folks shuffle on to the back of the bus. Mikemover, how's that bubble machine working for you? Or you using a disco ball?

Actually, I've used both....and fog machines and strobe lights too! :p

And yes, I think Toby Keith should shut the hell up about politics when performing as well....

But apparently his audience appreciates what he has to say.

Apparently Ronstadt's audience did not.
