Went to a strip club and......
 

It was just like out of the movies.....I went to a strip club back when I was in college. We were young and the ladies dancing hung out with us since we were about the same ages.

Anyway my friend convinced some of the girls to come home with us and the next morning I nearly threw up...What the hell happened to the pretty girls that came home with us?!

I know I was drunk, but even when drunk I still have pretty good taste. With their make up off and the light on the girls were average looking at best (vs stunning last night).

After getting dressed I called a taxi for the girls and that was the end of that.

Young and stupid....those were the days....

Just add it to your "life experience list" which was started by your parents.

I think those girls fall under the "they dont count" category :-)

Next time, have a cup of joe first and sober up for 20 minutes to get a good look.

Here's Ork's opinion on stripper chicks, applying to at least 90% of the stripping population.

1. Nice bodies from about 5 feet away. Messed up faces, too much rough livin'; drugs, physical abuse and "I'm not really a plastic surgeon" butcher jobs.

2. There is usually something wrong or out of place with the symmetry of their faces. Everything looks great, but the nose is way too big, or there's somethig weird about the eyes, the lines around the mouth, you know what I mean. Check them out if you ever have go back.

3. Always in drama, always screwed up over something. Car won't start, got in a wreck, another DUI, another possession charge, another "unexpected preganancy", "boyfriend" in rehab again, "wanna-be rock star boyfriend" (probably looks like a cross between Steven Seagal and Kris Kristoferson) back in anger management classes, infections from cheap tatoos, new boyfriend they just met in group therapy "has issues", surprisingly...

I'll give you a bonus if any of those chicks have C-section scars!

Hate to sound mean, I don't go to strip clubs. I have, however, encountered many strippers off premise, and its amazing how the demographic is so consistent. I'm not saying it isn't sad, though.

We have several excellent strip clubs here in Atlanta....Orlando also has some nice spots....and Tampa.....Texas isn't hurting too bad either....

Not all strippers wake up looking like they just drank a case of beer and got hit by the ugly bus!

Some folks would view me as the "wanna-be rock star boyfriend" character in your little story....not exactly accurate, but anyway.....as a result, I've enjoyed the company of a number of quite attractive and intelligent and issue-free strippers. NONE of them were as you describe. No arrest records, no drama (well, no more than any average female, anyway...), no addictions, no rehab, no prison tattoos, no botched abortions or butchered boob jobs...

One of them was actually a very sober and smart and sexy little Jewish girl, dancing to pay her own way through law school!....She passed the bar exam with ease, and has since moved to Los Angeles to become a junior partner in a respected entertainment law firm.

Considering my general prejudice against lawyers, I kind of liked her better as a stripper. :D But when I was about to sign my first record deal, she gave me some friendly advice that, if I had actually listened to her and followed it, would have put me in a much better position, financially and career-wise, than then one I ended up in at the end of that deal. She was a stripper, but hardly an idiot. She saw many things with much more clarity and objectivity than I did at the time.

Another one I dated was only 23, with only a high school education, yet she was obviously a bright girl: she had already bought a house, had a new car that was paid for in full, and had begun padding her savings account quite nicely. Many people in so-called "respectable" professions can't claim such success!

In many ways, they are not unlike most of us who have more "socially acceptable" jobs....They simply trade their time and talents for money, just like everyone else...but they do it while wearing much less clothing! ;) :D

The world would be a far less interesting place without them. :D :D :D

Oh boy, here we go. Not sure if I should respond to this or not, because I probably don't agree with much of the population here. Flame suit is on! :D

I don't go to strip clubs because I don't agree with what goes on there. Sure, it may all seem harmless on the oustide: who gets hurt while watching a beautiful girl naked? But is it just as simple as that?

I think doing this can lead to a disrespectful view/opinion of women as little more than eye candy and sex objects. If she's chosen to do this for some loftier purpose (paying for tuition...), maybe it's okay by her, but isn't she somewhat responsible for the people that come to see her dance? If I'm a guy that goes to strip clubs and views porn a lot, what kind of view will I have of women. Isn't that going to negatively affect the relationships I enter into?

I'm just raising some questions. Most of you know me as a pretty conservative guy on this board. I'm not trying to come off as a preacher and am certainly not as pure as newly fallen snow! I've been to the clubs and have seen some pretty off-color films myself. But I don't think there's any benefit to the stuff at all.

It's been a while since I've been to one....8 or 9 years (last bachelor party, I guess). But, I'll NEVER forget the show....it involved a giant champagne glass - filled with water - and a stripper that was an alleged former Olympic gymnast. The audience was literally drenched when the show was over! :eek:

Fortunately, I was still getting the first round at the bar while the show was "in progress", so I missed the up-close and personal involvement.

I only have a few problems with strip clubs.

1. anyone that charges $12 for a Coors of Bud needs to be shot.

2. The ATMs are always out of money.

3. The strippers sometimes don't take you home with them

I have not been in one since 2001 Final Four but I intend visit several in the near future.

I retired from rugby about 10 years ago after a bit less than 20 years of playing that marvelous game. Most of the stories you’ve heard about rugby players are half true.

Every year at season’s end we’d have team banquet. We’d get pretty much dressed up (or at least presentable) and the gals would clean up real nice. We'd rent a local yacht club for the event. We’d pat ourselves on the back for a great season (it was a very good club) and pass out awards. In the early 80’s some of us wilder sorts decided we’d institute the “Coyote Award”. Awarded to the player who'd bedded the most appalling woman (they didn't seem appalling at the end of the drink up.)

Yep, the left arm of a mannequin. Engraved plaque with the prior winners and a newbie added each year. Winning never led to a divorce, but there were some amusing scenes on a couple of occasions.
