I'll look into doing that from here on. I'm just used to getting cars in that have had local tire shops install them and it takes a 6' breaker bar to break them loose.

Nope, not for lug nuts. I use the same 1/2" size breaker bar I use on the side of the road when I have a flat and have to change the tire.

I've always tightened once and been done with it. When I tighten them I make sure that you are not going to need a 6' breaker bar to loosen them up. Been there, done that:eek:.
