That's tough. I don't think you can make it a dialy driver, an economical one that is. But as mentioned, I think behind the 300SL Gullwing/Roadster, the the W111 Coupe is easily the most beautiful...

I saw a 1964 W111 Coupe for sale in Houston. Beautifully restored, even the underside looks new. They want $35K for it. Its at EurocarWerk. Its a consigment sale.

Sounds like (pardon the pun) resonance, probably somewhere in the exhaust. How did the muffler guys attach the muffler to the time valve pipes? Are they both stainless steel?

OK, I think I need mine replaces. At least the rears, is this a doityourselfer or do I get a mechanic to do it? Prices on fastlane aren't that bad, but will I need a special tool to take the old ones...

On my coupe, the orange lights in the front don't line up. Are they supposed to? I've seen lots of coupes on eBay and most don't line up. The driver side always seems lower, is this normal?

How do you mount the front plate to the bumper?

Just tried to put the front plate on and the holes are to far apart from each other.
