When I had my w124, I could not find any of the plastic clips, so I cut rubber fuel line lengthwise and put it on the metal lines, then zip tied them together as a unit.

Old strainer has an o-ring on it. I will put it on the new strainer in the morning. I cannot believe the new strainer did not have an o-ring on it, or in the package.

I had to replace the braided fuel return lines on my 99. I ended up dropping one of the engine cover bolts.

The HC Refrigerants are very good to use in place of R12 instead of converting to R134. I did that in my w123 and w124. Lower pressures like R12, and almost same efficiency.
