Luckily with the 2000 w202 you will have the laser optical key... therefore no worries of an old fashioned tumbler... just more expensive issues should it ever go wrong.

Well the wheels are straight and the sterring wheel has no pressure against it, infact it can wiggle side to side a little bit. When i turn the key as much as it can turn maybe about 30 degrees or so...

So far the only progress I have made was getting the key to turn about 2-3mm in a 1, 1:30 o'clock position. Still a long way from the '1' Position, i have tried filling the lock with some lubricant...
