It is a 89 260E with originally 2 pre cats. The replacement is just twin pipes from the exhaust manifold.

But the cat being destroyed in two weeks is just insane!!!

Techie says it may be caused by rich mixture of air/fuel...

My 89 260e reads 14+ at idle, 13+ engine off.

Shouldn't it be 12+ for both? Case of voltage regulator?
