Not shocking. Last time I rode a gray hound was a few years ago. It was ghetto. Smelly loud people, screaming kids, seats and floor were nasty, kind of like riding a city bus.

If I remember correctly you have to remove some of the rubber trim where the harness passes through to make more space. Should be more than plenty space to pass it through

I’ve had it happen on my w210 turbo. Fan clutch seized up and fan broke off into the radiator. Fan parts everywhere. I put an Efan in after that and never looked back.
