I think you have an electrical problem, the ELS...
I think you have an electrical problem, the ELS system should make that engine start and run like a fuel injected gas motor, almost regardless of the temp. Also the RPM's should never change at idle...

Yeah thats probably it, the computer changes the time the glow plug light stays on. When the engine is warm its only on for a few seconds.
