Actually the car is still sitting in the same state :P
But I haven't changed my mind about the swap - none of the engines that I liked for this car would be able to fit without cutting the engine...

Oh yeah, and the car's frame rails are 25.5 inches apart at the narrowest part (which is right where the headers would be).

I know about engine balance, but it doesn't really have any bearing on our decision making process. Balance shafts don't rob that much power. Now, personally, I do care a lot about these details...
