That was my feeling too, not to use a sealant. The manual calls for use of a sealant, so thought I'd ask. Thanks, Tom.

As soon as parts arrive I'll be putting in new chain tensioner, tension rail, guide rail. The MB Manual says prior to driving the bearing pin(s) home to coat with sealant. The type of sealant isn't...
