ah, see i wasnt fully aware of that. The car shuts off fine with the key, but his shut off lever is hard to push and doesnt fully kill the car. ill let him know what you guys suggest.

A friend has an 83?? 240d manual drive. His shut off lever doesnt work. Push as hard as you want and it doesnt kill the engine, it just stumbles. He believes its a Cali car but not sure, and neither...
