I wonder if that#14 rod in the service manual is...

I wonder if that#14 rod in the service manual is transmission related? Did the 1985 federal wagon get a different transmission than earlier models?

I had the slotted nut on the shaft that bolts on...

I had the slotted nut on the shaft that bolts on with a 10mm bolt that connects the rubber\plastic, swivel part on the firewall to the stuff on the valve cover...adjusted to far one way....i moved it...

IS wagon linkage different than other linkage for 617 turbo?

I have been reading chapter 30-300 of the 617 service manual and it says that in the picture the #14 rod is suppossed to be adjusted to 140mm....except the rod (#14) on the 85 wagon is only around...
