It seems like the fluid would also short out the pins going into the connector if it were conductive.
So that implies "no", but doesn't...

At the suggestion of someone here (sorry, I forget who it was, but it was a great idea ....), I removed my TCU and drilled 2 small holes in the bottom of the case for drainage. Should be cheap...
