there is a W114/W115 body manual from the factory. It has some rather cool pictures of sawing major chunks of the car, like everything ahead of the firewall and other major surgery.
The reality, is that body work is bodywork. Any competent bodyman that has unibody experience can do it, once (s)he has the repair panels in hand, or worse case, fabricates them. There are no shortage of benz related details, like knowing where the rust hides or how to remove certain parts as part of the job, but the benz body manual won't be very enlightening. The book is available on microfiche and in looseleaf format on ebay from time to time. -CTH |
