Im trying to get this taken care of before I go to Germany, meaning this week, otherwise we will have to wait until I get back.
If we get five of them, I know I can get them to your doorstep for under 700 dollars. Send me emails, and let me know. I got one guy for sure from bnzsport.com, Ill buy one if we get more people, but I need to save money for my trip. Thanks.

Oh hazet makes an awesome one, but by the time you buy all the jaws its like 3k, but you can do every car, you can grab the spring from the outside.
I almost died using a cheap tool, since then I borrow my friends, but Id like to get my own. He bought his from mercedes for over 1200. Someone used an impact gun on his first one, it is ruined. I am fixing it, fortunately I didnt do it =)

Austin, is the group buy $700 Klann the 0021 kit or the 0025? The 21 is cheaper. The 25 adds a safety shear pin so if some idiot uses an impact gun, the pin shears and the tool isn't ruined. It even comes with a couple spare pins, IIRC. I think there's another feature difference as well but can't remember it offhand. Either way, the price is still good.
On a side note, I don't know how well a tool that grabs the spring from the outside would work on Mercedes. They can be pretty limited on space around the springs....  Regards,

I am interested. Where are you making the purchase. The Motoring Shop here in orlando is listing them for $799 but indicated they could do a bit better for a group of 5. I did not get further until I checked into your progress and not work cross purpose. What are the particulars of your deal i.e. where would we make payment etc.? let me know.

I'm one of those two....
...and will commit to illustrating with annotations, in my usual way, a complete W126 front end overhaul once I have the tool and the time.
But first we need five takers. If you have more than one MBZ, this tool works on the following chassis: W116, W123, W124, W126, W129, W140, W170, W201, W202, W208, W210. You can probably recover some of your cost by renting it out to fellow listers. These instructions will make it clear how safe the tool is, not to mention easy to use, to do that most dangerous of jobs - coil spring removal on a Mercedes.

Motoring Shop, isnt willing to give a discount besides what they alreaedy have on their webpage.
So far I have Jeremy-from bnzsport.com jim, git0- from mercedesshop.com Tom, Thomaspin- from mercedesshop.com we need a couple more people. Once we have five people, I am going to request a new quote. We need to do this soon because the euro is getting stronger, so the price will go up the more we wait.
