So, girl asked for my number first...but I screwed it up!

So, it was a nice warm afternoon. I went to the local coffee shop for a cup of coffee and pastry. I sat next to a actrative young women about my age early to mid 20s. We talked about an hour. She finally asked me for my number. I gave it to her and she wrote it down. Then I asked for hers and she gave it to me. I put it into my phone and thought all was great. I got home later that day to find that the number did not store for some reason.

This might be okay, as she asked for my number first. But since I got hers she might expect me to call.

With this I have a few options.

She mentioned that she was going to go back there tomorrow to fill out an application for a part time job. I could go in and leave a not for her stating what I just said about the number being lost in my phone.

I could leave well enought alone and just wait and see if she calls.

I could go there for coffee in the morning and hope to run into her there.

First time a gril has ever asked for my number, hope I didn't screw it up, as she seemed quite interesting.

Advice? Thanks

Oh well...Move on to the next one.

If she really likes you, she will call. Or she may call at a much later date, and start spouting off profanities over the phone (she'll start tracking you down, stalking you, giving you the evil eye, and spreading untruths among her friends...err).

There are millions of wonderful women out there, and just because you're attracted to one doesn't mean that she IS the one.

Let her chase you. Know your value. If she doesn't call, she isn't worth it for you.

Think of it as a journey to the next woman, who may or may NOT be her.

If it is going to happen, then somehow it will

See now this would not happen to me.

I would write the number down on a piece of paper......

And then would flush it down the stool later by accident.

How'bout we all chip in some coin and get him laid?

Not only will it give his self-image a boost but his grammar and spelling will doubtless undergo a marked improvement!

If she's really as hot as you said I would go back. Most women don't like to make the first move. It was probably a stretch for her to ask you for your number.

Welcome back Mr. Hughes!

nh500sl,

If you're that interested, just run into her in person and get things done without the phone.

Because you are assuming he would actually be able to close that deal.......

I assumed he meant chipping in for a prostitute to quench his urges. Then he could proceed with a clear head and confidence.

How hard is it to close a paid deal? I don't have any experience with hoes.

I have been on a journey of self-deprecation,work and that oh-so pleasant, ethereal stupor and surcease one seeks from Brother Barleycorn.

I lie, actually been working on my house pretty much single-handedly yet I could never resist flinging a sophomoric feuilleton ......
