Photo file rejection

I am having a problem with the new forum system. Under the previous system, when I wanted to post a picture I just went to browse, selected a picture and it would be posted once I hit the submit. Now, If I have ever used the same picture before,when I select "upload" I get an error message stating "upload error,you have already attached this file in another thread"! As a result, I can't ever post the same photo that may be related to the new subject. Is there a way around this restriction?
