Hmmm this got me thinking - how could you tell if the email was good or not... so I googled and got this:-

It's built into the forum software, Send a mass Email those that bounce back generate a report and you delete the accts

That would necessarily delete the accounts of many forum members in good standing, that otherwise have changed email addresses and or inadvertantly opened another User Name and or Password(s) over the years, that do not want to have their account cancelled.

Ask me how I determined that?

It is only the dead e-mail account id that is deleted.

The webmaster can fix this issue for you.
