1998 E320 ASR and Brake acting funny

Please help!

I just bought a 98 E320 with the ASR option. When I accelerate, the ASR kicks on and the triangle shaped light flashes. I do not accelerate quickly, actually very slowly, and it is dry and sunny outside. WHat gives?

Also, it seems like the front brakes tend to skid even during easy stops, feels like the front and rear are not balanced.

Someone help!!

Thanks,
Eddie

Are all the tires the same size? If you get the traction control triangle with no wheel slip the rotation speed must look wrong. Bad sensor could do the same.

Tires are both the same size with equal pressure. Would a faulty sensor trigger a fault code or something?

Thanks for your help.
