My 84 300SD shifts more harshly than I am accustomed to having owned several 300Ds. I checked the vacuum modulator and it is connected, getting vacuum and does not leak down. How can I make the shift a little less harsh?
Thanks Greg |

Give it a turn...counterclockwise I think, but if it gets worse,... go clockwise.

The modulator...it has a little plastic cover on it. (that's assuming we are taking about the same one, located on the drivers side of the transmission)
