e230 1997 puddle lights
 

Hey there,

recently brought an e230 in new zealand. None of the puddle lights work when you open the doors, the cieling lights dont work when you open the doors.

all the bulbs are good, and ive checked every fuse imaginable

There is a switch in the ceiling lights, they can be switch to come on with the doors open, or constantly on (like if you're uh, "parking", ehem) or to switch off the lights even if the doors are open, I'd say possibly they are switched off?
If you mess with the switch and find they are off, but then you can't get them to switch off, you may have a broken door switch so someone switched them off, seen this scenario alot.
